We Run ("we", "our", or "us") operates the We Run mobile application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use our app.

Information Collection

We Run is designed with privacy in mind:

• No account required: You can use the app without creating an account or providing personal information.
• AI Advisor conversations: When you use the Race Advisor, your messages are sent to our servers to generate responses. These conversations are not stored permanently and are not linked to any personal identifier.
• Web searches: The Advisor may perform web searches to provide current race information. Search queries are not stored or linked to you.
• No tracking: We do not use analytics tracking, advertising identifiers, or collect device information.

Third-Party Services

The Race Guide uses Anthropic's Claude API to generate responses and the RunSignUp API for current race listings. Please review their respective privacy policies for information on how they handle data.

Race Information

Race data displayed in the app (event names, dates, locations, participation statistics) comes from publicly available sources including official race websites and public race results. We Run is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of the races or events featured in the app.

External Links

The app contains links to external websites (race registration platforms, event sites). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these external sites.

Data Security

We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS) for all data transmitted between the app and our servers.

Children's Privacy

Our app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page.
